How will your commitment contribute to the digital transformation of health and the effective use of data to achieve UHC by 2030 in your specific country or region of focus?

BRAC will continue building on its existing mHealth platform to integrate data analytics to inform our healthcare delivery through CHWs. BRAC will utilize data insights to inform how we deploy and manage resources within communities that are underserved and/or have high rates of health disparities. The primary focus of this work will be to identify high-risk mothers and ensure that community health workers are effectively deployed to screen, treat, and manage high-risk cases with the aim of reducing stagnant rates of maternal and newborn mortality across Bangladesh. Efforts will be made to engage closely with the government through technical working groups and stakeholder workshops to harmonize data systems and incentivize data-driven decision-making at the higher levels of government.
