Five themes for Digital Health Week 2026

Digital Health Week 2026 is organised around five themes drawn from the

Coordinate - Act - Accelerate

Together, these themes focus attention on some of the conditions needed to make digital transformation work for people and support progress towards universal health coverage.

Activities can connect to one or more themes, regardless of when they take place during the week.

Leave no one behind

Digital health transformation can only support universal health coverage if everyone can benefit.

Yet access to connectivity, devices, information, and care remains uneven. Women, young people, people with disabilities, rural communities, and other marginalised groups often face the steepest barriers — and risk falling further behind as services move online.

This theme focuses on equity, inclusion, and people-centred design. It asks how services can be shaped with the communities that use them, respond to different needs and contexts, and reach those currently furthest from care.
