Paying the Cost of Connection: A conversation with young people on rights, access, and inclusion in digital health

The workshop aims at amplifying the voices of young people in the rapidly evolving landscape of digital health. As technology becomes increasingly central to healthcare delivery, it is essential to understand how issues of access, affordability, and digital literacy impact youth engagement with health information and services. This forum will provide a platform for young people to share their lived experiences and perspectives on the opportunities and barriers they face in navigating digital health spaces‚ and design actionable recommendations for presentation to policy makers.

This session will take a participatory and youth-centered approach, emphasizing gender and inclusion dimensions to ensure the perspectives of young women, persons with disabilities, and marginalized youth are represented. A call to action will be developed during the workshop – and presented to policy makers on the third day.
