Kenya Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2025-2030: Ensuring Youth Engagement in the design and implementation of digital health solutions
Kenya‚ Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy sets out a national vision for leveraging AI to drive innovation, economic growth, and service delivery. Within the health sector, AI offers opportunities to enhance diagnostics, streamline service provision, and improve access to information. However, the development and deployment of AI-driven health technologies must be inclusive, ethical, and responsive to the needs of young people‚Äîthe demographic most likely to use and be impacted by these innovations. Without intentional engagement, there is a risk of widening existing inequalities, reinforcing stigma, or overlooking youth perspectives in design and implementation.
This forum will provide a platform to interrogate how Kenya‚ AI Strategy 2025-2030 promotes youth engagement in driving innovations and solutions in the health sector.
