The Johns Hopkins Center for Global Digital Health Innovation (CGDHI) offers three free courses on Coursera focused on the collection and use of population health data, including civil registration and vital statistics (CRVS) data.
Designed with support from Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Data for Health Initiative, these courses provide essential and practical knowledge for professionals who design and manage population health data systems or who use these data for policymaking and global health programming. Data resources covered include birth and death records, disease registries, mobile phone surveys, verbal autopsies, and community health information systems.
