Digital Health Week 2025: Roadmap to 2030 Dialogue 2 – National Policies and Legislation

As part of Digital Health Week 2025, Transform Health hosted a series of Roadmap to 2030 Dialogues – interactive conversations designed to gather diverse perspectives that will shape the Roadmap to 2030: Health for All in the Digital Age.

Each Dialogue was an open, participatory discussion – bringing together governments, civil society, youth, communities, private sector, and technical partners to reflect on the enabling environment needed for digital health to deliver on UHC.

Speakers in Dialogue 2: National Policies and Legislation – discussed the importance of clear legislation to protect privacy, ensure ethical use of data, enable interoperability, and build trust among communities and health workers. The Dialogue highlighted that policy development must be locally led and shaped through meaningful participation, ensuring that digital health advances equity and strengthens public confidence in health systems.
